Miniartexil 2007

 

Curated by Luciano Caramel, under the patronage of Japanese Consulate, Provincia di Venezia and Regione Veneto, the exhibition is planned and promoted by Arte&Arte in collaboration with Musei Civici Veneziani and it will be open until 2 September 2007, an important event that you can miss while you are staying in hotel Venice.

It's an international exhibition of contemporary art based on the use of textiles, to become part of a genuine creative act.

This exhibition at Palazzo Mocenigo  presents 54 minitextiles works chosen by an accurate international jury and in addiction to these works, the exhibition presents  three large-scale installations by Akio Hamatani, Naomi Nakashima and Kiyonori Shimada.

Ca' Pesaro

 

In order to discover to magnificent cultural heritage of Venice, yuo have to visit the Galleria d'Arte Moderna Ca' Pesaro, in Santa Croce 2070, Fondamenta Pesaro, a modern Art Collection (19th and 20th centuries) of paintings, sculptures and graphic (from Italy and abroad), one of the most rapresentative of this country.
The museum is open to the public from 1st April to 31st October: open 10am.-6pm and from 1st November to 31st March: open 10am.-5pm.
