Natural resort of Cavallino

Not far away from Venice, there is the beach and natural resort of Cavallino. This small town but with a long beach of 15 kilometers was, till 1999, under the control of the Municipality of Venice. Cavallino is located in a long peninsula and has always been considered the “door to the sea” for Venice. Compared to Jesolo, not far away from Cavallino, just after the Sile river, this the ideal place to have a relaxing holiday far from the confusion of Jesolo or other “a la mode” beach resorts.
This small town of ancient origins, has maintained the typical charm of a fisherman village, with its small fish farms and fishermen at work early in the morning. Even it is as a quite oasis, Cavallino is well-equipped with everything you need for your vacation. The long beach of white sand and the transparency of the water are essential but important characteristic of this long seashore.
The town is surrounded by the characteristic PIANURA VENETA with its long expanse of fields of cornfields. Do not forget that from there, Venice and all the major islands of the lagoon, such as Murano e Burano, are easily reachable by motorboat.
