But the most beautiful and superlative museum is Venice itself. This fascinating city is an open air museum. To be there and walk along its narrow calli, its colorful campi, its picturesque bridges have a rest drinking a coffee, is an unforgettable experience. More than 100 churches are in Venice and all of them are masterpieces of art. To visit all of them would take a long time but there are a few, Basilica di San Marco, Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari, Santi Giovanni e Paolo, that can be considered the most representative.
